At the moment, the market value of Pi cryptocurrency is around 30 USD and couple of months ago it was 40 USD, so there is a small dip on the price. Also it's good to remember that the Pi cryptocurrency is not on the "actual" market yet. So the price might go even lower or it might go through the roof. The mining software or app is very light and doesn't consume much battery life, so if I were you, I would start mining.
